VADI HUSNA PUBLIC SCHOOL



Founded and registered under Indian Societies registration Act of XXI 1860 bearing NO.239/99 with sole objective of the all round advancement of Elettil area, Vadi Husna Educational and Charitable Association has grown up to be a typical organization providing manifold services in and around Elettil, especially in the field of education.

Though some of our revered founding fathers are no more the bright future of the Association is safe in the hands of the present office bearers who are all well- known in the society.

Syed Rasheedali Shihab Panakkad, The Chairman Waqaf Board Kerala & S/o Syed Umarali Shihab Panakkad the former President of Vadi Husna Is the present president and Adv. PTA Rahim, MLA, is the working president Mr. K. Abdul Khadar is the General Secretary while Mr. V. Abdul Huck, an international business man is the treasurer.

There are 5 Vice presidents 4 Secretaries 30 Governing body members and 130 General body members who are from different walks of life. In this context, it is to be under lined that but for the strenuous efforts and unflinching volition of the General Secretary this complex would not have come in to existence. A prominent teacher in a reputed educational institution for decades and also at its helm for years, his vast experience and sparkling vision towards education prompted him to establish institutions to provide modern quality education to younger generations so as to make higher study accessible to all the students come from back ward communities of this area.

In order to achieve the objectives Vadi Husna started Vadi Husna Orphanage, Vadi Husna Public School, Vadi Husna Madrasa, Vadi Husna ALPS Ozhalakkunnu, Vadi Husna book binding and apiary units and Vadi Husna Cultural Centre.

All these institutions, except Vadi Husna ALP School Ozhalakkunnu, are situated in a spacious campus surrounded by beautiful coconut palm groves in Elettil some 30 kms north-east of Kozhikode.
